ROAD CLOSURE ON SOUTH ROAD IN MARLBORO ON TUESDAY, 10/13/26, 7:00A-1P FOR REMOVING SPEED TABLE IN PREP FOR WINTER.

Please note that the Marlboro Highway Department will be working on South Road taking up the “SPEED TABLES” in preparation for Winter. The work will be beginning at approximately 7:00am on Tuesday, 10/13/26, and should take most of the morning. Work will begin on the “table” near the Marlboro Historical Society, and then follow up with the “table” in the center of town.

The work will necessitate “road closure” at the point of the work in order to efficiently remove the tables and for the safety of the Highway Department personnel. Please plan your travel accordingly (Town Hill Road can provide access to the town center from Route 9 when work is being done at the Historical Society and Ames Hill can be used as a detour when the work is being conducted on the middle of town “table”.

We know that this can be inconvenient, but this must be done, so please be aware of the personnel on the road and give yourselves some extra time to accommodate the detours.
