The Town Clerk’s Office requests that the voters of Marlboro plan ahead:

*register to vote in advance of the election

*vote your absentee ballot from the safety of your home.

The Vermont Secretary of State office will be mailing the ballots to all ACTIVE voters in late September.  If you would like to know your voter status, please contact the Town Clerk. If you recently voted in the August Primary, you will be receiving your ballot in the mail, no further action is needed.

Return ballots by mail, or in the drop box in the front of the Town Office. To drop off your voted ballot in person, you must make an appointment with the contact information below.

Additional information regarding elections includes the following:

  • The “My Voter Page” at  mvp.vermont.gov  is the online resource that allows every registered voter to login and have access to a unique, voter-specific web page with information pertinent to you.  Please visit the site to make certain your voter registration record is accurate with mailing address and legal physical address.
  • To register to vote, please visit the “Online Voter Registration Tool”  at   olvr.vermont.gov  which allows all eligible Vermonters to submit their voter registration application online anytime and anywhere they can access the internet.  Otherwise contact the Town Clerk.

The polling place WILL be staffed from 7 am until 7 pm on November 3, 2020 for voting and same-day voter registration, but the fewer people sharing the space the better.  We will be holding the election in the Town House for better social distancing.

Please contact town Clerk Forrest Holzapfel with any questions marlborotownclerk@gmail.com or (802) 254-2181
