Your Select Board and Highway Department understand that this is an inconvenience but greatly appreciates your patience while these devices to control speeds through the Town Center are put in place.

Please note that access to the Town Center (office, post office, & community center) will be available from Route 9 via Town Hill Road (just West of the Highway Garage).  For your convenience, a detour road map is linked below to assist you in planning your route should you need to get to the Town Center or just get to Route 9 to head in either direction.  This map will also be posted outside the Town Office, and hard copies will also be available in the Office. For these three days please plan accordingly, as travel times may be a little longer due to the detours.  Also, if you are expecting or need to have crucial deliveries that may be impacted by this closure, please contact your supplier and/or shipper and either advise them of the detours or schedule the delivery to not fall on these days.

As noted above, arrangements have been made for emergency vehicles (and other personnel such as visiting nurse services) and they will have full access to South Road through the Town Center should it be necessary.
